challenge Redesigning and making the corporate website appealing, letting the design and user experience (always mobile first) stand out. The main challenge was to present all the products without showing them as a simple catalogue, providing an engaging and intuitive web navigation to the user.
solution We wanted the Linea Light Group’s vast world to look not only good, but also very understandable from the first click. The products blend with the blog’s editorial activity and the case histories, which are a fundamental part to get the technological aspect and the daily use of the solutions. The web navigation was meant to be double: a menu divided in labels and a search through filters, which helps finding and discovering the products splitted in categories. The website is translated in 7 languages, a proof of its international nature.

Elegance, design, practicality and technology. This is what the homepage immediately expresses, playing with a black and white taste. Here the relationship between light and darkness is very strong, with its clear shapes and drawn silhouettes. Pictures and videos are the most immediate language to catch the user’s attention, who normally looks for the products’ design and their technical information.
The mobile version shows the double web navigation at its best, emphasizing the products and solutions, shown in detail from a technical point of view, and inside a case history with its related references. You can search the products live, using the filters and the contents are uploaded dynamically. The blog with the company news and the social media links are easy to find, proving it’s an ever-changing project.
The case histories show how the company can combine a 30-year old experience with the need for an incessant innovation, adjusting to every environment and use. The page opens with a map of Europe and the related projects for each area, in order to include all the international involved realities. The case histories have a descriptive and explicative function and they’re designed to have both a visual impact with shots and videos and a technical analysis of the chosen lightning solutions.
The blog by Linea Light Group is a lively editorial project. It’s divided into squares, organized by date. A search with filters allows to spot the contents, which remain “illuminated” if selected. Each post has also its own detailed photo gallery.
